WELCOME
Living with grief, loving through it, writing because of it.
Beginnings are hard.
Our daughter, Violet, died suddenly and unexpectedly on February 21, 2025. She was 15 months old, radiant with life, and everything changed the moment we lost her.
This space is where I write about what it's like to live in the aftermath—with my partner, with our 4-year-old son, and with the impossible absence of our daughter.
Here, I try to put words to the daily, shifting realities of grief—how we parent through it, carry it, rage at it, and sometimes even find beauty inside it.
If you're walking a path like this too, or loving someone who is, I hope you feel less alone here
